While standard lead-acid chargers might partially charge your AMPXELL battery, they won’t provide optimal performance or full capacity. We strongly recommend using a charger specifically designed for LiFePO4 chemistry that includes:

    I love this battery. Very light. I like this much better than the conventional lead acid batteries. In my motorcycle the battery has to lay on its back so there is always a chance the battery may leak. This one won’t. FYI if you go use this battery and you keep your bike on a battery tender you will need a battery tender that is specially designed for lithium ion batteries

    This is a very modern and compact high energy rechargeable 12V 3.5Ah Sealed Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) long life battery intended to be a replacement for Powersport lead acid small batteries. The listing has a list that this can replace. I loved the light weight (510 Grams or ~18 ounces and the built in “Battery Management System” (BMS) that according to the seller “protects it from overcharge, deep discharge, overloading, overheating and short circuit” A lot better than a standard Lithium rechargeable cell or any lead acid (LA) sealed or wet cell type deep cycle battery. Plus this type of lithium rechargeable battery can be deeply discharged without harm as the built in circuitry of the BMS cuts off the current flow when the voltage reaches a low cutoff limit. My multimeter indicated 13.25V at close to full charge. (P.2). Most any 12V system this fits will keep it charged. It has a 3.5Amp Max charging current. The specs say this little guy supports a Maximum Pulse Ignition Current (Cranking Amps) of 105Amps with a 210Amp MAX Cold Cranking Amps(CCA).

    This battery also has a top mounted LED Charge State Press Button (P.5). I like that! Useful to know how the battery charge is. The dual square terminals use M5 Phillips Head Hex machine screws and will mount to the top of side on either side of the battery which is very versatile. There is also a small lifter addon base for this battery if needed. This has a 1 Year Limited Warranty.

    My quad lost 7 lbs. Bike cranks fast

    Wow this is do small compared to my old AGM, I must have spent an hour online making sure this would work.
    Well it does and does very well.
    I’m running it on a polaris sportsman 400 ho quad. This battery cranks the bike faster, and actually starts this cold blooded bike within the first few cranks. Unlike my AGM that took minutes to get it started.

    This comes with a rise, but I still had to add additional foam to make it fit snug.

    I’m digging the 4 posts, it made it easier since I had to change it up with foam blocks it wasn’t exactly in the same spot as the AGM. I was able to connect the positive on the front and negative on the back.

    Something else nice, is the posts are threaded so no more messing around with those awful square nuts. It comes with 4 bolts washers and lock washers for all 4 posts. The bolts are hex and Phillips headed.

    I’ve only had it on the bike a week, and typically I have a spent battery within 4-6 months. I’ll keep an eye on it with the easy to tell battery health light bars when you push the button, I like that alot.

    This was 3/4 charged on arrival, I have a genius 10 lithium charger which topped it off in roughly 2 minutes. Man I love these lifepo4 batteries.

    This little beast is light, my bike lost 7lbs by dumping the AGM for this.
